Oh Wow......I'm 18?!

Time really flies. Like, when you have fun. When you have friends and you have a fun time catching up with latest news and gossips etc etc. When you get to enjoy a game you like. When your teacher says class is cancelled and you go cybercafe and play more games =P When you're with that someone(not applicable to me). When....oh hell, do you really want me to list all that?? Like as if you all already didn't know...

Not that I feel much difference being at the legal age now(that bank account is mine!! =P), it's just that it signals I'm goin to end my foundation course soon. Sooner than I had expected. Exams were brought backwards, remember? -_-"

Anyway, anyone wanna go skating??? XD

P.S. To those you sent me b'day wishes through SMS and Friendster testimonial and etc etc I thank you all very very much!! XD REally appreciated it :D

Title-less

This post happens to be title-less. I have not the energy to think of a suitable title for the moment. I have just realised recently that this coming Friday will be the last day of September. Oh, and that means I have to get my Flash assignment ready by then, and I only started on one layer.
Which also means, I have english presentation, Economics exam, and the Flash assignment to be done this Friday. I am so screwed...

Anyway, wanted to tell about this experience I had. 2 days ago, my family except my father went to have dinner at the Kayu Nasi Kandar place at Tesco. That was after hours of reading at Popular Bookstore at Ikano Power Centre. Hmm...I had ordered mee goreng mamak and it was served in a jiffy. Then I stood up and walked towards the outside part of the restaurant(I was inside) and on the way out, I noticed the "Wet Floor" and a waiter mopping that area. But I slipped and slided into the position where it's like I'm a guy proposing to a girl. And there was a waiter holding a pot of curry in front of me! >_< Feeling quite embarassed, I picked myself up, quickly grab a fork and spoon, and hurried into the restaurant to eat.

After having a nice meal, we came home and then i started to compile a little more notes for the presentation, and later decided to have yogurt for dessert. I took one for my dad(mango) and one for myself(peach). The yogurt my dad had was.....well, the normal liquid one. What I had was some almost frozen(?!?!) yogurt. What the heck...unfortunately it was because the yogurt was placed too far into the fridge and it kinda got frozen...therefore it is frozen :( Had to add milk and let it melt.

Anyway, the rest of the day ends with me drinking yogurt with milk, doing assignments, and sleep which is pretty much boring so I'll end here. Ciaoz~

Busy weekend

Saturday today. Woke up quite early(9am) and glanced over at the clock on my table which says "4pm". Aha, have to change the batteries in that clock =P And that reminded me that it's the day I clean out my closet, which is brimming over with clothes. I didn't start off immediately, I went to figure out how to get at least some of my Flash assignment done, but I'm still facing a dead end =(

Nearing afternoon, I was at the computer, sourcing for information for my english presentation this upcoming Friday. Hmm....thank god Ms Leena finally approved of my topic. I'm not going to say it here, you guys'll probably think it's disgusting, but hey, it's a last-minute decision and it IS an issue(huzzah!). Halfway sourcing, I took a break and cleaned out my closet. The amount of clothes piled up to the size of a big black trash bag. Well, at least I got something accomplished.

Didn't have enough time to go to Popular(Ikano Power Centre) today with my mom as my siblings all had school(wahaha!). Sat and continued sourcing for more info about my topic, and now wondering how I'm going to relay all those info I compiled up to class. My Flash assignment has been abandoned for the moment. Now focusing on my presentation AND Economics test this Friday.

And Wen you're so lucky to get your life un-mundaned =P By the way, have a good weekend people~

Of Feng Shui and flowers

Recently, my mother have been moving things like heavy furniture around the house. When i asked her why, she said "Feng shui purpose, dear". Oh wow, i wonder how'd that gotten into my mother. Usually, she don;t really go all lengths and follow those feng shui things. But now...things have changed. If you go look around, you can find some gold coins tied with red string. Maybe if you're lucky you'll find a wind chime =)

She's also in the midst of encouraging keeping flowers around the house. I particularly liked japanese roses, so she got a few small pots around the house. She also got me a nice pot of flowers(name unknown), and it's quite pretty. Unfortunately, it kind of welted after the day I got it, and the one my sister had which is the same as mine, is just flourishing day after day. *groan* Today, i decided to give the little plant a few sprays of water, just out of the blue. Hoping it'll be better tomorrow.

My worst fear has been confirmed. I failed Economics =( Sad, but true. I'm not really surprised, since I didn't have enough time to answer the last question, and just crap in the second question. What would anyone expect anyway...
Accounting....Ms Angeline said that I got A, but sometimes things the teacher/lecturer says can't always be true because they might forget since they had gone through many many papers. Decided to not be happy too early. Still haven't heard from other lecturers. Praying in hopes that I did well. Gotta go, it's raining.

In the midst of creating a presentation....

...I'm blogging.

Haha, multitasking. Oh well, quite used to doing about 3 things at the same time many times. Lolx.

Anyway, exams for the Pre-U students are officially over today. It's only finals for the mid-sem, though, still got one more semester to go. Anyway, I am now grunting about my Economics paper. I have absolutely no idea how am I going to explain to my father about not getting my grade up for that subject. Bleh. English this time was fairly easy, except for the university wordlist, but I'm never going to achieve an "A" for that subject though. Computing...that's okay, except it's confirmed I'm going to lose 3 marks for skipping a whole question I don't know. Accounting....I arrived late on that day, I hope I could still keep my grade at "A" though....gonna need as much marks as possible on that paper. Thank god Thinking Skills is not an exam this term. Many thanks to Miss Deehba, the major assignment marks are to be taken into consideration because she feels that Thinking Skills shouldn't be an exam-based subject, instead a hands-on one. I totally agree. Those facts and notes we studied during the first term could knock us all out flat! :P Pardon the pun

There isn't a semester break, so it's back to college for me next Monday. Not really looking forward to it as I doubt the lecturers aren't going to give their comments on our performance in the exam. I'm dreading Economics. Alot.

Lately, I've been watching Fullmetal Panic : The Second Raid. Unfortunately, I didn't know it was actually the third season until Nick Leong told me :( and it's my luck that the FMP : Fumoffu had been licensed since quite long ago(heard from Fan Sheng). Argh.

Oh, and I've been thinking, Miss Shirley, are you reading my blog? Since you can see it in your Messenger, I'm having this feeling that you're reading it...and obviously I haven't said anything nice about.....well, you know. Hee hee =P

I havne't anything to talk about, except that the Basketweave Shawl I was, and still am, working on is almost done....just a couple of inches left. Phew. Now I have about one and a half months to prepare for my finals...and after that...foundation year is OVER!! ^_^

But I mustn't be too happy...just in case I have to sit for referral exams....hope not..I'm not THAT bad in my subjects.....right?

Or am I?

God, that's propaganda.

:)

Boring, with a whole lotta crap

This post will undoubtly be the most boring one. I have nothing to post actually, but maybe i could just include some random stuff here and there.

Okay, so I haven't settled the USB cable problem yet. Yea, I'm too lazy to drop by the shop to change it for another one. :P Stayed up late yesterday to finish up my assignment which i thought was overdue. Since i didn't attend class yesterday, nobody told me that my dear lecturer had made a decision to extend the due date to this Friday! Argh! I was rushing through everything and nearly turn the main switch of my computer of without shutting it down >_<>_<

Just had a mini computing exam today which contributes 5% to the overall grade for this semester. I could do most of the Multiple Choice Questions but the essay was a tough one. I can never know how to do the flowchart for the programming topic...hopefully whatever I put on the paper can earn me some measly mark :(

Oh and I have to get alot of things done this month with so many people's birthday in it. September babies! ^^ including myself :D
But somehow I'm not so excited at becoming 18 so fast for no certain reason.

**************************************************************************

I had to change the time at the bottom because I had continued the post at the following time. This afternoon had a tough time looking for a vacant classroom for accounting, which caused the students to locate a class at either the topmost floor, library, or first floor. After searching for quite some time, ended up in one of the cold rooms on the first floor. And I thought my mom had left me at college since I came out late from class. Started walking towards Yu Yi Restaurant when I saw this gold Avanza coming my way. Looked kinda familiar, I stood at the side of the road to see it coming. What luck! My mom was in the car, hooray! She asked if I wanted to do facial today but the lady wasn't free, it'll be postponed to tomorrow after class. Then head on to Tesco and helped choose some nice fish, but I don't really like to eat fish anyway :(
Then after chugging all the groceries, my mom and I went over to The Curve for Watson. Did some shopping in there, and ended up paying about RM30 for my purchases >_<

Came home after my sister kept bugging me on the phone to come home quick.

Neeraa told me earlier that when I wasn't at the Thinking Skills class yet this morning, Miss Deehba said that I am "perfect in every way". I.....seriously do not understand. Must ask Neeraa for further explanation, if Miss Deehba did explain to her.

I know this post is abit confusing cause I keep jumping from the past to the present and vice versa. :P Didn't I warn you? And the title was already self-explanatory.

Malam Seni Berzaman / Malam Kebudayaan Melayu

This is a post for yesterday's dinner event.

The Malam Seni Berzaman was held in KDU College Auditorium that night. I started to get ready only at 7, which was abit late since I wanted to do lots of things to my face. Ha. By the time I was ready, it was about 8.20, so I rushed to get the camera and keys and whatnots and drove(without my specs....this time I really forgotten!) to college. I was hoping I wasn't late, but seeing Eva and Jim just getting something out of a car signals that nothing's started yet, so I was relieved.

According to Eva, functions are never punctual, and she's right. The whole thing started only at 9, on the reason that the VIPs were late! 45 wasted minutes, and I couldn't get any pictures because this weird camera either takes pictures too dark or too bright.....should've brought my old camera >_<

Anyway, there were alot of tarian zapin, and syair and stuff(couldn't remember which comes first) and I have to say, they were talented, and oh Amal! She could really sing! Go Amal! ^_^v
Saw Wafi and Farhan doing perfomance on stage and they rock! Wafi was seen carrying something earlier on(what till i get the name....) to escort the VIPs, and later the traditional Malay marriage drama couple into the hall.

There were only a few people at the table Fadzrul gotten. 6 out of 10 people came...4 empty seats which were eventually taken by Wafi, Farhan, and Munzir after their performances. They were wondering how come there were so many leftover food on the table...lolx...oh, and Farhan sapu-ed most of the fruits on the table.

After a few performances, a few numbers would be announced for the lucky draw. Nick Liew's number 138 got called, and he was making gestures of kissing his ticket :P I forgot to ask him what he got though...nvm, Monday's coming.

Guests were given a souvenir for attending the event. Chocolates....and two small bottles of Biore ACNE Facial Foam(???).....wow, this must be some serious advertising man! Must be sponsors for this event.

The food served was nice, except the beef one, which I couldn't eat :( There was one particular dish...which was pineapple covered in sauce! The sauce made it look like meat of some sort...The kind people, Rachel and Eva, were tasting the food if they contain beef. Thanks lots! *muakzz*
There was a beef dish, and a dish with the pineapple thingie, another was acar(vegetable jeruk with peanut sauce), chicken, and indian dhal. MmMmmMMmmmMmm nice! Then the fruits came, and the first thing I took was a small grape. Cute as it is, it's so darn sour! Blekk! Whatsmore, Nick Liew and Fadzrul was laughing at the other end of the table! You two really wanna kena arh...... :P
Then the last dish was a special kuih, covered with coconut, and with a sugar dip. I liked it. Most of the people at the table didn't touch it, and Eva said the sugar dip tastes like black sauce with sugar, and the kuih is better eaten alone! That seriously turned everyone off...so the kuih was left untouched.

At expected, the event ended at 11.55pm. I was so tired, I was afraid of driving home myself, incase I ended up in an accident or something(touch wood!).

I reached home at 12am. I have to say, this is the first time I went out alone to an event in my entire lifetime, and this is way past my curfew, which is at 7. Somehow feeling happy! ^_^

That's all then, byez~

Happy 48th B'Day, Malaysia! (or 42nd...according to Neeraa)

I'm actually typing this entry while doing research for my english presentation. Sort of a sidetrack after looking through numerous articles regarding my topic.

So what did I do on Merdeka(Independence) Day? I spent a day a Berjaya Times Square! :D I bet the first thing you'd think is that I went to the Adult Theme Park and had a blast there. I'm sorry to say but I have to correct you for I did not EVEN stepped into the place before(okay, maybe once, but I never play anything!). I seriously couldn't stand rollercoasters and other things alike because I get headache easily. I'm quite square.

So, my cousin, Claudia and I went around in the shopping complex, peeking into shops aimlessly and talked about Malaysian cultures and stuff. Then she eyed a PlayBoy shirt(she's currently "collecting" shirts with the PlayBoy/PlayMate logo/design on it). Oh boy was she happy! She tried a pink one, but it didn't really suited her skin colour, so she change to a white one. The white one really looked nice on her, and she bought it.

Okay, so her mood was lifted, now mine. Been looking around for a finger ring, a really cute one...and I did! Passing by Hinode, I saw this really cute ring with a symbol which loks like the ying and yang symbol....only thing is it couldn't fit my right hand middle finger...*sob* I tried a few others, and saw another cute. A diamond/crystal/dunno-what in the middle with the shape of a seashell at the side....short for Michelle(Seashell). Chell...Shell......okay, quit laughing! It's not funny! And I DON'T look like a shell.....

Now happy happy around with the ring....walked for about anotehr 2 hours in BTS...spent majority of the time waiting for the lift so we could go up the faster way...but waited for 30 minutes and all the lifts are full....in the end entered a lift which is going down, so we could go up again. That was a smart idea though. After reaching the intended floor, got a call from Dad that we're going home. Heck! Wasted so much time waiting for the lift.

Took the monorail back to KL Central. Then Dad drove us to Kelab Rahman Putra for dinner. Had char kuey teow. but it's abit tasteless. After a while, I gave up on eating it, couldn't stand it. Whatsmore with the new healthier diet regime "eat less oily stuff, and more vegetables" because of something...(dun spill the beans Wen!).

Oh, and the title....Neeraa told me something I didn't notice. Malaysia is celebrating it's 48th Independence Day...but Sabah and Sarawak joined few years later. So, shouldn't it be 42nd? Think about it...
