Clashes

Oo...for the month of December, there have two days which has two events in it.

First is on December 3rd. Earlier on I attended a Leo Club meeting, and they had proposed a visit to a kids' home somewhere for Christmas celebration. The place is yet to be decided, but the time would be around 10.30 to about 12 or 1 in the afternoon. And~ I can't go for it. I just realised yesterday's IELTS class!(Would you believe it, I tend to remember things during events. Though I'm not sure why I can't remember on the day they proposed to go to the kids' home -_-") The thought surfaced when it struck me that I'm having IELTS on the 3rd! IELTS is from 9.30am-12.30pm. This is one class I cannot afford to miss because per class costed alot of money and it would be my last class, which is the mock test for listening! Ack! I have to let go the hope of visiting a kids' home. It's been along time since I last went to one, was back in Form 1.

Now I'm thinking of quitting LEO Club altogether. Seems like alot of outings are clashing with one of my schedule or another. I've been told that my participation is crucial. Must not miss unless I have something solid to back me up. Worst, usually the proposed events are on Saturday. I'm having IELTS on Saturdays, 3rd being the last class, and 10th being my exam day. I'm going to be working at well, so this makes things worst. I can't keep telling my supervisor that I have events frequently, they might as well fire me.

Second would be December 5th. I have to get my foundation results on that day, and go for first day of work at 1 Utama. I hope I can get the results before I go work. If not, I have to get it the day after. Doesn't really clash, but well, I might miss getting my results. This time around, they didn't set the result-taking time to 3pm or any other times. Yeah! ^^

Hmm...what else should I blog about...oh, I've been searching for songs lately and a kind friend(Kingsley) told me to go to IsoHunt to find. Yeah! Thanks alot! Now i can indulge in nice songs(after a long time! =P) Got alot of Korean TV show songs downloaded. Got original soundtracks from Summer Scent and Memories of Bali. Now trying to get Lovers in Paris, but the downloads are slow as seeders are often not there. It's been three days and it's ONLY 13.4%! >_< Super Rookie's soundtracks could not be found. No matter, I didn't take notice of the song anyway =P

Recently, I've been hooked on Beat Down : Fist of Vengeance. It's a PS2 game I came across few days ago. I noticed it among a pile of games few days before the exam. I only started playing now. Due to that, I've delayed my game in Resident Evil 4(hey, this game is scary!). I'm hooked on BD, so I'll play that game for awhile. I have to say, it's like Urban Chaos and Tekken in it. Where you run around as a crook( in UC you're a policewoman), and have battles(group or one-on-one like in Tekken). This game one must be good at planning attacks, because simply pressing buttons here and there doesn't work(I've learned it the hard way). Really nice. Though the loading times can be a pain. I wonder why it takes so long...

So this is about all. Nothing else at the moment. Thinking of starting a little business for some dime. Lolx. That's gonna be impossible this while, yea...

Ain't my lucky day...but i got exercise though

Got woken up today at 8am by my alarm. Turned it off and slept for another hour before realising I have to be in KLCC today before noon. Ate breakfast and told mom about where I was going. Happy that she volunteers to send me to KJ station. I don't have to wait for the bus yeah!!! ^_^

Before I left, she asked me to measure the door cause she wanted to get new curtains to replace to old ones. Took quite some time. I dropped by Projet's new 7-11(used to be Destina) shop and bought a card and a bag for Neeraa. Yeah she's 18 today! :D Big girl already...heheh

By the time i reached KJ station, it was 11.07am. Bought a ticket and went into the LRT. Happened to carry a handbag so was kinda scared if there were snatch thieves around >_< Reached KLCC at 11.37am. Neeraa wasn't there yet, and Xiao Wei definitely aren't there yet either. So I went up a flight of stairs to see the KLCC building high high up, and took a picture of it. Dang, the camera's screen wasn't wide enough, so I couldn't take a full view of the building :( After a while Neeraa called to ask where I was, and spotted the red car her dad drives. Wee~~ she's there! Went around KLCC. Then saw Chameleon and went it. It kind of like a Sinma-like place. All the accessories and all the girls who clamour to check and buy them.

Saw alot of nice earrings. Hehe, as usual, I bought some earrings(again). I think I have to do something about the pile of earrings I got. Too many I think. It like, everytime I go out, i sure come back with at least one pair. It's becoming a habit. Xiao Wei came and met us in Chameleon. After browsing in the shop, went around KLCC. Decided to have lunch at Secret Recipe. Neeraa and I had a slice each of Cheese Choc. Xiao Wei had a slice of Chocolate Mud Cake. Mmmm....it was really delicious. Cheesy, and filing. Couldn't go for a movie, I didn't bring enough money. So so sorry though...

Since we couldn't watch a movie, we went around shops, like Girls. There are nice pretty things there. Damn....if only i had brought enough money... Nevermind, there's Girls in 1 Utama as well. Nearer for me. There's still that little Teddy Tales little kiosk there. Saw the same black bag i bought. This time they didn't put any bells or anything around it. Looked plain from far.

Before we head for the LRT station, we did a last minute browse in Watson. Xiao Wei was looking at a row of foundation, and wiped some on my face! Oh my god, thank god it was the same colur as my face, or else....*looks at Xiao Wei menacingly..* Succeeded in putting perfune on Neeraa as a birthday "disaster" on her. Ehehheheh. It was fun....until we found out she's allergic to perfume :O
Crap...I hope nothing happens to her.

After that we went to the LRT station. Neeraa drops off at KKL Central. We went down with her and took some pictures before the next LRT comes. Neeraa leaves to go to the KTM area to wait for her dad. Xiao Wei and I went on the LRT. We chatted awhile. Then Xiao Wei gets off at Taman Bahagia, and I at Kelana Jaya station. Called mom but she wasn't home to fetch me. So I thought I'll take the Putra Feeder bus home.

It was only then that I realised the Putra Feeder bus leaves from Taman Bahagia and not from Kelana Jaya station!! Argh! I didn't have enough money for a taxi so I walked from the station back to my house. It was a loooooooong walk alright. And what's with all those idiots who whistled while I was walking!! Stupid taxis which horns everytime they pass me. Look, I don't need a taxi, unless it's a free ride HOME, and not to some other discreet places. Reached home. By that time my mom was home already. Argh! I had exercise though. Feeling less tired already. But I slept for an hour later =P

So this is all for now.

Oh yeah, I finally got a call 3 days ago. From one of the places I applied for a job. Most unexpected. Coz I was hoping I won't get that job. A waitress. Hm...I'll probably start on December 1, if I can. That's all now...

I'm Not-So Wanted

Two days ago I took a taxi(by myself) to 1 Utama in search for a part-time job since I'm on holiday. Don't know why, the first place I went to was Girls, but they didn't have any more vacancy available. Then went around aimlessly. Saw "Shop A" having a part-time vacancy. Went in and inquire about the job. The salesperson there just asked me to leave my name and contact number, and they'll call me. Hmm...I like the hours, but it's only a three-days job. If I do get it, what am I gonna do for the rest of the week? Nevermind. Went around and passed Tribal Spirit, but stopped abruptly because I saw Kryztine inside! :D Stayed there and chatted for quite awhile, found out she had been working for 11 days already! She actually counted. Then went out and walked and ended up at the ground floor of the new wing. Saw Womens' Secret with a "Wanted" sign out in the front. Went in, and applied and was asked to come the next day for an interview. In the end, I didn't go =P

Walked around some more and saw Heng Seng, Pek Ying, and Joanne at Presents4U. Chatted awhile, found out they're all doing AusMat at Sunway University College. Then bid goodbye, and walked on. Asked for vacancy at a couple more shops but the vacancy is either full already or is full-time only or they require Chinese-speaking people. Frustrated, went back to Tribal Spirit andchatted some more with Kryz. At 5, decided to go and try Memory Lane, as Kryztine said. Been there, but they had no more vacancy :( Head on to MPH, went there, but was too scared to ask >_< Went out, then just loiter around 1 Utama. Decided to have a McFlurry with Oreos (nyum! XD) But changed my mind to a Sundae. Then went to ask Gifts2Go but their vacancy is full already. Hmm...

The day before I went 1 Utama to find a job, I went around Atria to look for one. I gave up on HeBe. Can't even communicate with the manager properly. Korean person :S I applied at Delifrance, but I cannot hope so much because the way the supervisor there took my application is like "sambil lewa". Forget it man! ):( If you're just laying me off, then just say that you don't want me! Don't give me false hope okay!

Today itself, I tagged with my mom and siblings to 1 Utama for lunch at McD's. After that, mom wanted to go Jusco, and she gave me 45 minutes to go where I want to go. Went around looking for a job again. Then saw "Shop B" and tried. Waitressing. Gonna be my first time. But it's a small place, hehe. Can't put too much hope, they prefered someone who can work for quite some time, unlike me. There were other places which had vacancy, but (haha) those places are rather big. >_< I may be choosy, but I wanna focus on working at small places before proceeding to big ones :D Oh well.

Today I got to know my foundation results, though not specifically. I passed everything, but I wasn't given the grade. Have to wait till December 5. Then IELTS exam results is 2 weeks after the exam, and the IELTS exam certificate comes one month after the exam. Damn! So darn long! :( Am I dissapointed....

I'm still pretty torn between continuing my studies to become an accountant or take classes to become a beautician. There are pros and cons in both jobs.

Accountant:

Pros:
1) High demand - every single company needs at least an accountant, sure to find a job somewhere.
2) Office job, fixed salary.
3) Is able to become chartered accountant or professional accountant, and doing auditing and taxation pays good.

Cons:
1) You'd be doing the same thing everytime (Journal, Cashbook, Ledger, Year-End Accounts...) Bo-o-ring.
2) Accountants don't really have alot of social life.
3) You'd have to work under a company, like PriceWaterhouse Coopers or Ernst and Young. There are no independent accountants.

Beautician:

Pros:
1) Get to do something I like, which is beautifying people(and myself XD) :P
2) Get to meet and socialise with so many kinds of people!
3) This ain't no office job.
4) Not neccessaryly a fixed salary.
5) Able to work independently after getting enough experience.

Cons:
1) This job isn't high in demand.
2) Requires patience(alot!) when beautifying people, like makeup and other things.
3) Requires creativity (mine is underdeveloped!)
4) This is rather embarrassing...but......I'd probably have to speak chinese.

Alot of people said that it's totally up to me about what I want. Like Soo Wen said that I should do what I'm happiest with, which I undeniably have to say is true. Some said just go on with being a beautician, as long as you like it, and you'd have to patience to go through, you can achieve what you want, like my mom said. There are some people who object saying that I should just do accounting since I've already passed through my foundation year.

Sometimes, I think I was indecisive when I chose to enter Foundation in Business. Even until now, I'm still indecisive. It's not that I liked doing Accounts, it's because I'd good with it. I mean, I know how to do it, it's like Maths, just not that difficult. Formulas are fixed. But there are subjects which assists the Accounting subject which pulls me down, like Economics. I now realised I'm not good at all with reading subjects but am much better at practical subjects, where I write and practise alot.
Hmm...so how? :|

The Start of my So-Called Freedom.....Holidays!!

Finals ended last Thursday. Finally. Although the finals consist of four exam days, it seemed like a week! The Economics paper is rather tough, but I managed to answer alot of questions this time. English was okay, just that I couldn;t find a last strong point for my essay so I had to stick with a point which I really didn't want to touch on.

Anyways, now having holidays till I apply for undergraduate course. Probably gonna start finding a job somewhere. Can't stand staying home and not doing anything. Sob....just found out I can't do intership at PWC because I'm not in my second year of any business degree course. Hmm...probably just find work in either Atria or 1 Utama. If not, The Curve isn't so bad...except for the freakiness of the silence once it reaches 10 at night. So anyone wanna go work with me? :D Lolx

Before my finals, I had quite alot to blog but didn;t have the time. Oh well, I shall try to write as much as I can remember.

*31 September*
Shu Wei asked me to go 1 Utama today to watch a movie with Soo Wen, Yi-Lin. At first, went to Secret Recipe and wait. Wait for what I didn't know, I kinda just sat there with the eccentric people Soo Wen and Yi-Lin opposite me. Ahaha! They were posing with Soo Wen's camera doing all sorts of funny moves! So funny!! Actually, they had brought me there to celebrate my birthday!! Belated birthday actually...tried to asked me out on Thursday but couldn't go because had exam on Friday. The cake was awesome! I think if I'm not wrong Shu Wei chose it(right?). Chocolate and cheese. Very filing indeed. Nyum~!

Then next on the sgenda was to go watch The Longest Yard at GSC. That is the second time I went there for a movie since it started operating. The sound system is still kinda loud, TGV's sound system isn't so bad. But the seats in GSC is way, way more comfortable. The Longest Yard was really funny. I can't remember what the show was about but the characters sure can bring out laughter in the most violent ways possible. Hehe.

After the movie, went around to get the leftover cake from Secret Recipe, walked around shopping for a moment, then decided to head home. The party was realy, really fun! Tanks everyone who made it possible... XD

*20 October*
Guess what? It Shu Wei's birthday today. EHehehehe. Earlier on, Soo Wen, Yi-Lin and I were planning to surprise her at her house/road/1 Utama with alot of weird ideas here and there. Alots of problems too. Then we found out that Wei Kiat was also planning on a surprised birthday party for her. Hehe. In the end, we went on with Wei Kiat's idea. He asked me to choose a cake, preferably cheese, if can, with chocolate. Had a problem because neither of us had Secret Recipe's number, so I had to try randomly typing Secret Recipe's online website(if they had one). They had (Yahoo!) and I went to browse the cheese cake section. Believe or not, they have about 18 cheesecakes available!! :O Wei Kiat was like "Oh My Gawd...." Anyway, he chose the cake, and I'm to get it on SW's birthday. Reaching there, met up with Wearn Cheah and Michelle Tan :D Went in to get the cake, then found out the cake they reserved and the cake WK ordered was totally different. End up he had to come down and get the cake himself. Not much of a surprise anymore >_< Sorry everyone....

Met up with Fan Sheng, How Han, Yi Hoong outside Chilli's.Had dinner at Chilli's 1 Utama. Eh WK....ur taste very expensive leh....the food all costs above RM20, drinks above RM5(even for mineral water). Ate Fish and Chips, and no drinks. The fish portion is like, twice the normal one, and chips are also twice much more than normal. I ain't no big eater here....but I managed to finish the fish. Half of the chips were left uneaten. Hence come the cake. Cheese cake again XD I'm starting to get addicted, but eating too much would cause me to avoid it for days to come. Hmm...overall the dinner was gooood, and the cake was really delightful XD Too bad my camera sucked that night, couldn't really capture nice pictures without looking either too dark or too bright!! Damn!

After dinner, went to look for my car. Couldn't find it. I remembered I went up, but Wearn Cheah said I drove to the carpark below. So, we went down twice, but couldn't find the car. In the end, tried our luck by going up, then we did find the car! Hurray! Drove Michelle and her cousin Joseph back to their house, then drove Wearn Cheah back to her house. By the time I reach home, it's already about 11pm. Oops....my parents were still awake downstairs watching tv. I went upstairs, changed, and slept.

*The four days I spent shopping during my study break*

I kinda forgot which one came first, but i remember I went to Mid Valley Megamall on one day, and KLCC in another, and The Curve Mutiara Damansara on another day, and also Tesco on another-nother day. Hmm...if I'm not wrong, Tesco was first, then The Curve, then Mid Valley and lastly KLCC. Anyway, I'll continue.

The trip to Tesco is fairly a simple one. All I did was went shopping with my mom. For groceries that is. Nothing much. Just wanna get my mind off Economics for awhile, since I had been waking up Economics, eat Economics, sleep Economics, DREAM Economics. There was two occasions where I actually dreamt that I went into the exam hall for the Economics exam but didn't study beforehand, and I was wondering how come I didn't study beforehand. Weird, huh? Paranoia, one of my friends said. =P

The occasion at The Curve was that I followed my mom, sisters and brother to Popular bookstore and spent half the day there reading books which had nothing to do with what I'm supposed to study. I took that opportunity to read up on craft books than looking for supplementary books to help me with my studies =P Naughty procrastinating me! I'm getting really interested on making candles. If can, I'll go work and then get those candle-making supplies. Eheeh. And am getting interested in making greeting cards for this coming Christmas, and doing jewellery. But supplies aren't easy to obtain.

Mid Valley. Was there with my family for dinner. Had it at a teppanyaki restaurant. The food is nice, except the teppanyaki. I don't favour them, and had always wondered why they always include so SO much taugeh into that thing. Weird! Then went to Carrefour. Parents were browsing for nice new TV set, while I lingered into the teeangers' clothing department. Found what I was looking for all this time, the jacket/sweater/whateverucallit. Yeah! Finally have a nice one! But they were all M size, and is rather big on me :( I took one anyway, was deciding between a white or green one while chatting with Neeraa on the phone. In the end, bought a red one. Neeraa, I'm gonna get you for what you said about me choosing red. No, I did not choose that colour for that reason, okay?? :(
That's about it. Nothing else. Got a bright red new jacket/sweater/whatever for that day. Yahoo~~!

The last day was at KLCC. I accompanied my mother and brother there. They wanted to go explore Petroscience. What I did was go shopping all by myself. After taking them to Petroscience, I went around the whole of KLCC. Pretty big place. Browse shops. Was looking for a nice pair of heels but couldn't find nice ones. Also looked for shops selling handicrafts but there wasn't any as well. :( Walked around, looking at pretty accessories at numerous shops, but didn't buy any. Then went into Teddy Tales because I really needed a bag to put my wallet and phone into it. Couldn't fit into the pocket of my jeans, and carrying it around in my hand is dangerous. Went in, and tried on some bags. Finally decided on a black sling bag. The salesgirl suggested hangbags, but I'm not interested in handbags. After purchasing, went to McD's to get a McFlurry with Oreos, but they were out of Oreos. Bought the one with Smarties inside instead. Then continued around KLCC. Found a small Teddy Tales stall. They were promoting the same bag as I bought, with a couple of others. After rounds of browsing, I came upon a shop at the lowest ground of KLCC, I forgot what it name was...girls' accessories shop. The things there are really really nice. Reminds me of Sinma. Wanted to get this sequins belt, but it costs RM15.90, and the money I have is enough to last me until the end of the month. Oh well....shall come back next time and get. Hehe. After I explore every single floor in KLCC, my mom and brother was almost out of Petroscience already. While waiting I ducked into Kinokuniya. My mom and sister said it sounds like Konyaku jelly. -_-" Went in there and looked for a particular cross stitch book to do some Christmas present for the fun of it. Unfortunately, I don't celebrate Christmas. Couldn't find any of such books. Then went into the stationery section. Wondering what to buy. Saw this really cute piggy bank. Pink somemore, wah! After that, had a call from my brother saying that they were outside of Petroscience already. Head on home by LRT after that. Dad came to fetch, and we all went straight for dinner. The rest is just a pretty normal night.

That's about all. Pretty long post eh? =D Have a nice day everyone.

P.S. This was supposed to be posted two days ago. Had internet problems, so I had to type this in Notepad.
