Hair days

Accompanied a friend yesterday to source for a nice modem and SLR cameras. Decided to meet up at the LRT Station KL Central stop. Emm....let's just say we kinda got lost in the crowd looking for each other. I don't really blame her, I had my hair cut recently...

Before

After

Many ppl say its quite a big difference. What say you?

And my friend is the first non-family member person to see me after the haircut. Couldn't recognise me in the station. Haha...and I thought I still looked the same :S

After going around Low Yat Mall, found this Aztech ADSL modem just right for Ezreen. Kinda got lost getting around the shops. I mean, she has a point, some shops DO look the same.

Then we walked our way in the rain to this camera shop near a chicken rice shop or something. Her lecturer, who recommended going to this shop for the best bargains for cameras, told them a particular landmark which is the chicken rice shop.

"Late at night got chicken sounds"

At first she didn't know what he meant, but after seeing the chicken rice shop, started laughing.
I actually got to try the Nikon D70s camera!!! Haha!! Started taking pictures but it was pretty heavy and after awhile, got kinda tired of using it. Not enough strength ler.

Then walked to Petaling Street. It HAS been quite a while since I've been there, and it's more or less te same....except the big signboard...didn't realised it was there before :S Sellers screaming, buyers bargaining, I was pushed, pulled, hustled and bustled through the crowd. Then took "shelter" in a Popular bookstore :P

Browsed through books, and came across one for henna designs. And this reminds me, the henna design on the back of my hand is just scraping away as days passed by.

The next early morning routine

Am surprise with myself today. Though I am an early morning person, waking up at odd hours to watch the sunrise unwillingly to the wimps of my pathetic body clock.

Today, instead of the usual laze-around-drink-milo-while-reading-yesterday's-newspaper routine, I took my two dogs out for an exercise. Walked abit to warm up, then ran about halfway to the playground at my neighbourhood. Then walked abit while the two canines find some places to ease themselves.

Everytime I do an exercise which involves running, some parts of my skin becomes really itchy, and not to mention RED!!

Partly due to the geseran between the pants and my legs, I supposed. And got to know that it's not a skin problem, just the blood circulation from my mother's friend. Haha.

and hence MPPJ becomes MBPJ

Majlis Perbandaran Petaling Jaya(MPPJ) has been renamed to Majlis Bandar Petaling Jaya(MBPJ) after the change in status of Petaling Jaya from a town to a city!

Hooray?

Today is the day Petaling Jaya becomes a city. Previously a town, I still don't see much difference, except there's more people, more places (so many places with the word "Damansara" in them e.g. Damansara Jaya, Kota Damansara, Damansara Indah, Saujana Damansara, Pusat Bukit Damansara), more rubbish, more eyesore buildings about bla bla bla~
I wonder MPPJ will do a better job starting today :/
