Dull Life, Finals a-Coming!

My schedule:
Monday - Computing(8-9am) A.English(10-11)
Tuesday - Thinking Skills(11-12) Economics(12-1) Accounting(2-4)
Wednesday - Thinking Skills(8-9) Economics(9-10) Computing(10-12) Accounting(1-2)
Thursday - A.English(9-11) Accounting(11-12)
Friday - A.English(9-10) Economics(10-12)

In short, my college hours are short. Which leaves me being bored at home after the usual assignments and revision(omg). Sometimes is I'm lucky, the afternoon is spent shopping with my mom, which is rather unhealthy to my purse.

Recently, I have put those extra hours to "good" use by playing Burnout Revenge on the PS2 but really it isn't helping much. Not with my parents thinkings I'm slacking and not studying for my finals.

Going to have an IELTS(some advanced english language course) mock speaking test this Tuesday. Now have to figure out how I can keep on talking for at least 3-4 minutes. Har. I'm afraid if I go totally speechless when asked a question! Like when Xiao Wei asked the question about jazz music, oh God! I don't know what's Jazz music! A music noob like me only knows how to listen, not distinguish! :O I got even more scared thinking about that Law student Vince in the class whose's english speaking skills are like equivalent to Ivan's!! *shiver shiver*

Nevermind that, whatever it is, well, I'll have to do my best. Miss Mary, the lecturer for the speaking section, has hinted that the interviewer would ask questions which we often than not taken for granted and not bothered to know. Like, who gave us our full name? Why? Describe your hometown. Name one of the historical buildings in your hometown(DJ does not have any historical buildings right...?)? And questions which are equivalent to that. Then he/she will proceed to questions about general knowledge, and/or opinion. Better stock up me knowledge for now....

Oh yes, anyone interested in donating blood? KDU LEO Club is organising a blood donation drive. Here's a snippet from the email I got: (email snipet ends when you see the **************)

Giving blood is perhaps one of the most precious gifts a person can give, especially in these difficult times. Sadly, the need for blood often outweighs the supply. In fact, one statistic that really brings it home is that 87% of us will need donated blood at some point in our lives, yet only 10% of Malaysians donate.

The KDU College & its Leo Club blood drive will be held in the room Auditorium between 9.30 am and 4 pm. There are lots more benefits that donors will received from this donation, as inclusive: Certificate of Donation, supplement pill & foods, free outpatient treatment & wad in government hospital.

With an aging population and fewer donors, the need for donated blood in our community is great. Giving blood is safe, it’s easy and by giving up just 15 minutes of your time, the pint of blood you donate can save as many as three lives. Please help us in doing our part to close the gap on the supply of this precious resource.

*Requirement: - 18-60 years old

- Body weight: more than 45kg

- Sleep: more than 5 hours

- No medical problem/takin any pill

- Take a lil bit food before donation

- Last Donation: more than 3 months

- No inappropriate sexual behavior

******************************************************************

That's about it. If you don't know where is the Auditorium, it is on the first floor, with large doors and the big sign KDU on the top. Or you can ask any kind students/lecturers for the way.

To fill up my almost-at-the-brink-of-boredom life of mine, I've volunteered to help out in the donation. Being a member, I've missed some meet-ups, so maybe now can chat chat again! lolx!

Anyway, time for me to go. Adios

"Oh, bicycle!"

First time I rode to college on a bicycle today. Minus all the weird stares and cars, it felt....cool. Haha. But all the way was uphill, so by the time i reached the parking area, my legs felt like jelly! Oooo....

Reached to class late. Luckily Miss Deehba didn't say anything. Talked about future careers, and I was the only one who actually cut and pasted the ads on a piece of A4 paper! N said I too rajin already. Maybe so.... I had nothing to do on weekends anyway. Most of the people I know is either busy doing something else, or at their hostel far far away, somewhere which I couldn't reach them except on their handsets.

Short post. Anyway, goodluck N, I know it's kinda late to say that. Happy dancing! ^_^ Oh, and I'll lent you "Skeleton Key" after your presentation is over.

No more fun Saturdays anymore....

I have just started part-time IELTS class, which is held for three morning hours every Saturday. So almost every Saturday my mornings are just going to come and go, right before my eyes, and dang I cannot enjoy early morning walks anymore >_<

Now have to start thinking about saving fuel...had brought up to my mother about cycling to school. She agreed, and anyway I backed up my point with the fact that a little exercise makes a *ahem* sad student stay awake, at least for the first two hours in class. =P Now am wondering how to keep my sister's (I don't have my own bicycle anymore) bicycle safe. Mom suggested dog chains (?????) and kind of wrap it randomly around the bicycle to keep all the parts safe, with a padlock somewhere. There were cases in the previous years that even though bicycles are chained with the usual bicycle chains, mean people can unscrew the tyres and other parts and take them away.....scary >_<

I had finally presented my presentation few days back. Felt nervous at first, but after a while, I got used to the situation and just presented for the sake of it. I was also amazed that I could remember certain facts without actually refering to my cue cards. I had taken out some information the night before in case I couldn't remember. Glad that I got the class's attention. My topic was....disgusting actually(sorry people! -_-"). It's about female circumcision, and the reason I chose that topic was because it's not really heard of by many people. Got the class in "Huh??? What???" in the myths part. Imagine circumcising a female to make a woman's face more beautiful...that's a myth! :P

All in all, I'm quite satisfied with the entire presentation....except maybe the discussions part. The questions were dumb, no doubt, and I had it done last minute, and couldn't think of any much logical questions. And despite all my efforts, I am again rewarded with a C+!!! Argh! Ms Leena!!! I did it better than last time!!!!! Why?!?!?!??!?!??! )(&@&)(_&@%!%@%)*%#!!!!!
Written on the paper "....monotonous.....should work more on pronounciation". She forgot about "stop playing with your hair during presentation". :P I WAS unconciously playing with my hair anyway :P Didn't notice until the end of the presentation. :P

OMG I watched Porn! (Pls don't misunderstand and read on)

I can explain the title. I didn't watch on purpose(not that I wanted to anyway). One of my classmates was to present his topic 2 days ago, and his topic sounded like "The Effects of Video Games in the 20th Century" or something like that.

The title is self-explanatory. About the types of games and the positive and negative effects. All the bla bla stuff(i got it from Ms Elsie =P) So, that "particular" part appeared when he came to a part at the negative effects of sex scenes in games.

Remember the hot news where the all-famous game GTA : San Andreas had an explicit scene which people could just download and watch. Something to do with altering the game codes so it'll "unlock" certain locked scenes in the game. AND that classmate of mine got it, well, not really, it's just a video, not the game itself. He aired it to the entire class on the projector from his PDA with external speakers(I believe it's surround sound, its his own by the way), and, well, we watched porn. My dear lecturer asked for it to be fastforwarded(it porn you know....), he said we all(Note:we) should watch it because it's education! OMG! OOhh's and Ahhh's were going around the class, got some Yuck's too. But overall, his presentation(minus the porn part) is good, but too lengthy(hey, you're pushing me further and further behind!!! When is my turn EVER gonna come =|).

So there you go.
