A bad day, a bad month ahead...it's not even noon yet

Although I only partially believe those things Mrs. Too write about Feng Shui, I seem to think she is able to forecast what is going to happen this month. This month, she noted that those born in the Rabbit year will face minor accidents and illness, but I thought "If i look after myself well, it wouldn't happen right?"

Wrong I was.
Today, it's not even noon yet, and I had already fallen on the stairs of my own home. Bruises on my legs and elbow. I slipped on the stairs and fell. Luckily I didn't fall all the way down or else I don't think even Mrs. Too can forecast the results of the situation.

Apart from that, I received news about the CPU i sent to the computer shop for repair and formatting. Well, the CPU died, totally this time. No point in fixing, the guy said. He said he had already solved the initial problem I was facing before giving up and sending the CPU to the shop. My formatting wasn't the problem(by the way, I want to thank those people who has helped me through the process of formatting that computer. Really, it was a big help :D), seems like the motherboard's lifespan has reached its limits and now wishes to R.I.P. He estimated the CPU has been used for about 6 years(I don't know, it used to be my uncle's computer, not mine). Hmm...:/

Well, at least now I know I wouldn't have any computers to go online anymore. I can't always rely on my Dad's laptop, in fact he is already complaining in case we start "abusing" his laptop instead. I have to admit he has a point there. That's partly the reason why the CPU's lifespan has been shorten alot!

Hmm....maybe I should start "abusing" the computers at my college instead. Haha :D Okay maybe I won't be so mean, but I have no where else to do my work(Cyber cafes is NOT an option! All those DotA...RO....Maple Story....oh boy am I tempted......crap....).

Argh~nvm, enough about that.
Today decided to find my own way to Subang Parade. Unfortunately, got lost in a housing area, the people there were looking at me as if I'm a potential rapist, which made me rather uneasy.

Decided to go home after the failed attempt. Haihz~

In the previous post, actually, it wasn't supposed to be blank after the title but I dunno why it came out blank, and when I click "Edit" to see the contents, they're missing! I have no idea how it happened, but I think the title says alot. =P

My Dad told me recently he's thinking of getting a second hand Kancil for me to drive to and from college. From what he said, it's a Kancil 660 automatic. 660...he told me there's not much pickup as it's auto(then why you didn't get a manual one for me...)and it eats more petrol too. Oh my god...better start saving now before next year(news is that the government might increase again....sigh....).

Today morning(before the falling from the stairs incident), went to college as usual for Economics tutorials. Left the Case Study article in the car while I lugged my textbook, lecture notes, tutorial work and my own file upstairs. Today our lecturer was rather animated in class. Tried to wake the students up he said, but I think...he's making himself look funny so we'll be more eager to speak up. Marketing lecture was cancelled today, so I left at about 10am.

No other news so far, except my MPO debate group leader called me to go to the computer lab because I hadn't cited my quotes properly. Had to find the websites again.

Well I got to go now....have to apply some ointment on my bruises...*sob*

I'm Not Lazy, I'm Just A Little Unmotivated

Monday blues...

Woke up late today, at about 7am. Oh my gawd! My alarm actually rang at 6am, or to be more precise, 5.54am(my handphone time is 6 minutes fast).

So what did I do? I got up at that time, turned the alarm off, and SnOoZe until 7am!!! NoT a good thing to do on a Monday when I have an Economics tutorial class at 8am!! Rushed through getting myself ready. Luckily I've already packed my things the night before. The habit's beginning to sink in. My efforts worked! :D Compared to the year before last...I packed my stuff BEFORE I go to school. Which leads to the fact that I'm often late to school and my name being written down quite some times. =P

Now only to inhibit the "wake-up-at-6am" habit....going to be quite a tough one as I seldom go to bed early...that's why I was late today.
Rushed off to fetch Karen and totally forgot about the nice chocolatey donut on the table *drats* oh well...

Reached to class about 7.50am...amazingly, I wasn't late! :D hurray! xD I drove pretty fast today (damn scary) about 100km/h...in an Avanza, it's pretty unstable, and I really felt it today...but the road was pretty straight all the way so it wasn't so bad...

Class was...usual...me loathing Economics more and more because I can never understand why I'm studying in the first place and I don't see any connecting between Accounting and Economics...(I'm just not facing reality that's all...)

Then Marketing Foundations comes into view. Nothing unusual. Then got informed that the Economics study skills workshop was today, so decided to attend it.
The workshop ended afte like one hour and 15 minutes....and I extended my parking by 2 hours!! Spent some time at the computer room with my groupmates doing the MPO assignment. Still cracking head because the topic wasn't what I believed in, unfortunately. Sigh...

Was quite a day for me. I'm still (lazy)unmotivated to do Economics :/

Why? Why? Why???

Why now??? Why yesterday??? Hey wait....that was a contrast wasn't it....

I mean, yesterday, sorry.

Yesterday, everything was as usual at night. I resume my routine of going online (almost) every night, on the pretext of doing research.
I really AM doing research!! Just not continously...=P I don't have that much initiativeness in me for that.

I don't think I have to list down the how-to of turning on a computer, right?? Most of us would know or else there's no way you're gonna get here in the first place. :D

So, halfway starting up, a black-and-white-MS Dossie-like message was slated onto the screen:

We are sorry for the inconvinience caused. Windows is unable to start properly on the current attempt and is possibly caused by a recent change or installation of a handware or software.

If you know what might have caused this, selecting "Armed and Loaded to da Max" will enable you to search and destroy the virus with just a click of the mouse. "Armed and Loaded to da Max with Networking" enables you to search and destroy the virus with a friend, an imitation of DotA for you avid gamers.

If the the computer had suddenly restarted or shut down in the previous attempt to protect your computer or you aren't sure of the problem, then calmly select "Make computer generate 'I Am An Ass' 50 times in Notepad form then start Normally". Or if you are really angry because your unsaved work is all unmercifully 'gone with the wind', then we strongly advice you to throw this computer into the incenerator and get a new one. You'll need it, sekcur!

Armed and Loaded to da Max
Armed and Loaded to da Max with Networking

I Am An Ass' 50 times in Notepad form then start Normally

Just kick me, sekcur!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh yarh angry I was at that message. And I realised that the last choice doesn't work. Har. Oh well.

Actually it's pretty obvious that the above message isn't all true.

Well, to sum it all up, the "Start Windows Normally" choice didn't work. So I chose Safe Mode. I was still pretty mad at the computer.
I have WORK to DO! How could you DO this to ME????

In Safe Mode, I was informed that a program had caused the system instability. The program is *drum rolls* NVIDIA GeForce 256. I got some information from a credible source that this is a graphics card thingie. Owh...I wonder how it can cause such (castrastropic) illogical instability when it has been working fine for about...half a year?

Oh well, for now have to depend on this getting-nicer-everytime-I-use-it laptop :D It's my Dad's actually. Have to computer hop till the desktop is up and running like normal again....*sigh*

Well, me gotta go now. have a couple of things to do before embarking upon the new week. Cya all~

New (old) skin

After numerous complaints about the difficulty with whatever ragarding my previous skin, I've decided to finally convert back to the one before the previous one. Rejoice people~! =P

I'm supposed to include this into yesterday's post but I forgot...yesterday must be my unlucky day! Did you know...as I was walking towards the main campus yesterday, the strap of my right sandal broke!! Argh~ of all days!!

My initial idea of dealing with this is to selotape the broken strap to my sandal and continue walking around.....and so that's what I did. It worked, but I had to make frequent stops re-tape that strap, and got alot of weird looks from other people :/

I managed to drag all the way into then entrance of the main campus(passing this cameraman who is filming a senario right in front of the entrance :S) Right after passing the man, I managed to drag until CRAP! my side strap broke!!!! This time I really can't walk at all! Yeargh! How can two parts of the strap broke at almost the same time???? *groan*

I dragged into the motorcycle parking lot. The guard was passing some weird "what're-you-doing-there" kind of looks...then he started laughing when he found out my strap broke... Thankfully, his colleague(a lady guard) offered me a pair of slippers(initially for sembahyang...-_-).
Was not my size, not like I cared much that time because all I wanted was to get into the Lecture Hall and find a places to sit.

I got the strap fixed later by that cobbler who weren't there when the strap first broke. Now my shoe is okay to be worn, but I wouldn't risk it in case the left side strap starts to break as well...
Risky risky~

Then later in the evening a small lizard fell on my head. Eeww~ happened to be chatting with Shu Wei on MSN somemore...she said I should go bath with orange leafs to fend away bad luck. Only thing is...the orange tree wasn't there anymore...Boohoohoo~

Hectic but.....life is just B O R I N G~

As everone know, the price of petrol has increase, this time not by a mere 10 cent, but by 30 cents per litre! Could you believe that??? That imposes a huge burden for students like *ahem* yours truly who will be driving to and from college starting this week. And obviously for such a car...it eats quite an amount of petrol. Not so much as the normal cars but still...not like I have a choice of cars to drive anyway.

Plus, I have to pay toll every morning because I have no idea how to reach to college through the no-toll way, not like I want to learn to *bwahaaha* >:D

Now though I have to be really frugal with all the coins I have to pay for my parking fees which I really pray/hope/beg would not change (due to petrol prices, D-Oh!).

Then I have to watch my petrol meter...jorr the govenment is so mean! But they've already subsidised some amount so can't fully blame them....dratz! I wonder who monopolises the petroleum thing in M'sia...oopz! Atupid question! But I really don't know!! Petronas?? But there's other ones like BP and Caltex and...and....Shell?? Oh...

Besides the petrol rants...college life is getting abit stressful...AND boring! Uhh...not being able to watch nice movies with my favorite buddies(I've not watched movie for long.........LOOONG time adi! >_<) I wanna watch Big Momma's House 2!! I wanna watch Destinasi Terakhir 3(Final Destination 3-somehow i find the malay title more chun)! I wanna watch Casanova!! I wanna watch The Wig! *bawl*

Yeah yeah I sound like a big baby at my age, but I'm really missing out on all this things! And I really really wanna enjoy once in a while. Did you know that according to Feng Shui and Astrology(if you guys actually believe them) that Fire Rabbits(born in the year 1987) usually have hectic schedules? Remedy is to let loose sometimes and don't get too caught up with work. This month for those who're studying, don't procrastinate on assignments because eventually you'll see it piling up fast and it's gonna get ugly from there.

For those who're single might find someone this month(they always say but this often is never true anyway...). On the family part, set some time for you and your family to get together even with your hectic schedule. But wait...I have time for my family every night! What ARE they talking about?? =P
Basically this month has some ups and downs...nothing new really...

Now I'm gonna have to face being bogged down by lectures, tutorials, assignments, group work, project, social life, sleep life, bla bla bla...all slammed into my face! It's been quite awhile since I was really busy, minus the work life I had before enrolling into college. I feel like taking up a part-time job again now...but I doubt I have time knowing I like procrastinating =P But I don't mind freelance jobs, thought it depends on which part of the year they offer. My time managemment skills are still in the "trial&error" stage, where error is MORE than trial. But I'm learning, yea.

Oh yeah, another thing. Since the day I started driving by myself to college, I drove to 90km/h!! Mwahaahahar! That's quite a record for me as I've never been allowed to drive that fast before! Though I
know someone people who just say I drive really slow even at that speed...eh I don't wanna die early larh, my car is rather unstable at high speed
.

I tried to paint my nails green the other day, but kinda failed when I smudged the polish on almost every finger! Bummer....Now maybe I'll go for purple colour! Eheheeh....
Then one of these days I'll go get my brows done the threading way. I heard it's going to be really painful, but I'll give it a try.

Other news...life onnline-ing is getting boring...Nothing to do already. I'll just be here in front of the monitor staring into nothing, or a comic which I randomly surf on the net. My time has been contributed rather unevenly between cartoons, assignments, cartoons, assignments, cartoon, assignments....you people get the picture, right?

Okay, for now this is all I want to say...I have a debate to write up, assignments to attend to, books to meet up with, cartoons to laugh with, car to explore with(where's the jack for my car??), money to squirrel away with, and many other things. Lolx...till next time =)
